A large area of re-seeded wildflower meadows, formerly arable farming fields, this site is now protected for its wildlife and landscape value.

Quietly secluded, this mature deciduous woodland is a mix of oak, ash, silver birch, hawthorn, holly, rowan and abundant hazel coppice stools.

Once owned and farmed by Hannah Hauxwell, this beautiful nature reserve features two species-rich unimproved upland hay meadows and a grazing pasture in a traditional farming landscape.

The second largest coastal Dene in the county, consisting of unspoilt ancient woodland and species-rich limestone hay meadows.
