By running for Durham Wildlife Trust, you could support nature conservation from the River Tees to the River Tyne.
Your fundraising will help us to continue our great work across our local area, enabling us to look after special spaces for nature and protect key species now and in the future, as well as helping to fund our education work, ensuring the next generation can care for their natural world. 💚

Our top fundraising tips
Take a look at our top five fundraising tips below:
- Set a clear goal - choose a specific fundraising target (e.g. £100, £250, £500) and let your supporters know how much you would like to raise.
- Explain why the charity matters to you - do you have a connection to Durham Wildlife Trust or a personal story that conveys how much wildlife and nature mean to you? Add this to your fundraising page!
- Use social media - post updates on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, or share your updates with us and we can post them for you on our Durham Wildlife Trust social media channels.
- Reach out - share your fundraising journey with close friends, family, or colleagues. Many people are happy to help if asked 🙂
- If you don't feel comfortable asking directly, or are looking for another way to reach your fundraising goal, why not host a mini-event like a bake sale or plant sale to raise those last few donations.
