We love exploring wild places such as the fantastic woodlands at Low Barns, the butterfly grasslands at Rainton Meadows, the rocky shore habitat at the coast or the wild areas of your own school grounds. Wherever you are there is always somewhere to have a wonderful adventure with nature.

Adventure Schools will receive:

  • A wild day out at either Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, Low Barns Nature Reserve, a location that fits your class topic, or at your school with activities linked to the national curriculum delivered by our experienced Education Team
  • 10% discount on second education visit booked to take part the same academic year
  • Access* to our online Education Pack with resources and activity ideas to support the curriculum 
  • School certificate to celebrate your outdoor adventures

A typical class visit will include:

  • 3 to 4 activities wildlife learning activities which could include: pond dipping, bug hunting, guided walks, animal and plant identification 
  • A lunch break with access to on site facilities 
  • Access to WildPlay area (Rainton Meadows only)
  • Access to our classrooms
  • On site cafe and gift shop for pocket money treats
