Conservation Rangers at Rainton Meadows

Join us at Conservation Rangers. This session we will be making our very own Hard Hat Planters with Bowmer and Kirkland. Take home your planter to decorate your greenspace and welcome nature near you or give as a gift for Father’s Day!
We will also be carrying out pathway clearance of our Education Woodland and Joe’s Pond.
We will be outdoors for this session (weather permitting)
Gain new skills and get involved in conservation tasks including surveying, planting and painting tasks during these sessions.
Join this group of young volunteers and get some hands on experience of managing a nature reserve and recording the wildlife.
These volunteering hours can count towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award or can be recorded as work experience on your CV, plus you’re helping to do your bit for the environment!
Please dress for the weather and bring suitable waterproof clothing. Wear sturdy boots/footwear.

- Grass cutting and raking
- Litter picking
- Surveying
- Species ID
- Nature themed crafts
