About the event

Along our North Sea coast, we can often see cetaceans such as bottlenose dolphins, minke whales, harbour porpoise, white beaked dolphins and even humpback whales. Join us to learn about the cetacean species that can be seen locally, and have a go at a guided survey, if we're lucky we'll get to see some fins!

You can help us to improve the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises, by taking part in this guided Cetacean Watch survey to help us monitor and record this important group of sea mammals.

We'll have binoculars that you can borrow, please wear weather suitable clothing and outdoor footwear.

This event is funded by the Sea Changers grant.
