About the event
Join Durham Wildlife Trust staff for a spooktacular day at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve!
Drop-in to the Bellamy room for nature-based Halloween crafts, owl pellet dissections or listen to spooky stories. For the more independent ghouls, feel free to take one of our activity sheets away with you or start the eerie treasure hunt trail across Rainton Meadows.
Our hauntingly good guided walk will be held throughout the day, starting at 10:15am. Discover an array of frightening and decaying wildlife or find yourself the ideal wizarding wand! Timings of each walk will be advertised on a chalkboard inside the visitor’s centre on the day – be there or be spooked...!
No BOOking is required for this event, simply turn up in your best fancy dress and see what tricks (or treats) await you.
