About the event

We are running nature-themed holiday club this half term, free to eligible Sunderland families.

Budding explorers will dissect owl pellets, tackle a trust trail, build cosy hedgehog shelters, construct woodland dens and master the art of fire-lighting. It’s the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, learn new skills, make friends and discover the wonders of the natural world. At lunchtime we’ll take a break for a healthy lunch.

Monday: owl pellet dissection, trust trail and hedgehog shelter making at the Rectory.

Tuesday: den building and fire-lighting at Rainton Meadows - and possibly with some roasting marshmallows to end the day!
