About the event

This event is hosted by Somewhere Places project in partnership with Durham Wildlife Trust.

During this family-friendly nature walk nature spotter sheets will be provided and we encourage you to download the free Seek (nature ID) and Merlin (bird ID) Apps (not essential). 

Please note some areas of the walk are not buggy or wheelchair friendly.

SOMEWHERE LAKE is part of a larger project - SOMEWHERE PLACES. Across September-October 2026, look out for a programme of environmental activities using Silksworth Lakes as its focal point.
