Close of the formal meeting to be followed by presentations on the Trust’s recent work, its refreshed strategy, and how this will shape future plans.
Papers for the AGM, including the annual report and accounts, and details of members standing for election to the Board, will be available at www.durhamwt.com/agm and sent to everyone who registers to attend.
Trustee Faye Butler will step down at the AGM after eight years’ service; the maximum term allowed under the Articles of Association. Trustees Nigel Bell and Harvey Neve will stand for re-election after completing an initial four year term. Several members have expressed interest in becoming Trustees and full details of those standing for election at the AGM will be available at www.durhamwt.com/agm.
Members who would like further information on becoming a Trustee by seeking election to the Board should contact the Trust at mail@durhamwt.co.uk or call 0191 584 3112. Please note, nomination forms for those seeking election to the Board must be received not less than 28 calendar days before the date set for the AGM.
Members who wish to vote by proxy should contact the Trust to request a proxy voting form. Completed forms must be returned to the Trust’s Rainton Meadows office: AGM, Durham Wildlife Trust, Rainton Meadows, Chilton Moor, Houghton-le-Spring,
Tyne and Wear, DH4 6PU by 6pm on Saturday, 10 October, 2026.

Eventbrite booking in advance is essential. The meeting will take place in person and via Teams for those wishing to attend remotely.
Only Durham Wildlife Trust members can attend the Trust AGM. In order to ensure only members are present at the meeting all registered attendees will be verified before being able to access the meeting.

*the meeting will take place upstairs in the Attenborough Room. The centre does not have a lift.
