About the event
Join Links with Nature and Captain Raggy Beard for some spooky story telling and nature-based crafts. These sessions are recommended for ages 5+ (younger children may attend, parent/guardians will need to support with craft creation).
Activities
- Story telling with Captain Raggy Beard.
- Autumn and Halloween themed Nature-based Crafts by Links with Nature including Spider Web Dream Catchers, Conker or Pinecone Spider or decorate willow woven Witches Wands.
Event Information
Event runs from 10:30am-3:30pm. Please book a ticket for each attendee. Please ensure you book a parent/guardian to attend the same slot as your child/children. Tickets available for the following timings:
- Morning A - 10:30am Stories and 11:30am Crafts. 7 spaces.
- Morning B - 10:30am Crafts and 11:30am Stories. 8 spaces.
- Afternoon A - 1:30pm Stories and 2:30pm Crafts. 7 spaces.
- Afternoon B - 1:30pm Crafts and 2:30pm Stories. 8 spaces.
After an hour of the first activity the two groups will swap over and carry out the second activity, giving everyone the chance to hear a spooky story and make their very own craft to take home.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes, as this event is outdoors. This event is weather permitting (any adverse weather or weather warnings issued, ticketholders will be notified if event is cancelled).
Children attending must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.
Free car parking is available on site.
The Lakes Cafe will be open 9am-3pm to purchase food and freshments. Toilets can be found inside Springboard Adventure/Lakes Cafe, to the near of the building. Water drinking fountains are available in the toilets next to the changing rooms.
