About the event

Join us to learn about marine mammals that can be seen locally from our shores, and have a go at a guided survey! Along our North Sea coast, we can often see cetaceans such as bottlenose dolphins, minke whales, harbour porpoise and white beaked dolphins.

You can help us to improve the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises, by taking part in this guided Cetacean Watch survey to monitor and record this important group of marine mammals.

We will have binoculars available for you to borrow.

Please wear weather suitable clothing and outdoor footwear. You may wish to bring a hat, sunscreen and a drink.

Booking is essential.

Suitable for 16+, anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

There are public toilet facilities available about a ten minute walk away, and Pay and Display parking is available at Trow Quarry Car Park.

This event is funded by the Sea Changers grant.
