About the event

We will be exploring the pond at Low Barns. This is an opportunity to get close up to the invertebrates that live within the pond; see how they move, work out who they are and how they interact.

Please note: all pond dipping equipment will be provided – please DO NOT bring your own due to potential cross contamination. Instructions and guidance will be given at the start of each session.

Booking essential, spaces limited.

Suitable for children aged 5 years and above and adults. 

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

We will meet outside the Low Barns Visitor Centre and walk over to the pond dipping area. 

There are toilets, a café and parking on site. Please wear weather appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. We will not be going into the pond so wellingtons are not necessary.
