Fungi forage with the Rangers

Our Nature and Young Rangers spent their last session on a fungi forage around Low Barns Nature Reserve. Find out what they found in the blog below.

Our teams of Young and Nature Rangers, aged from 11 to 18 years old, enjoyed a fungi forage - under the guidance of our expert education leader - around Low Barns Nature Reserve last weekend. Amazingly, they found a total of 42 species of fungi during their forage. Incredible!

The little purple mushroom is a wood blewit, the blue mushrooms are green elf cups, the cluster are honey fungus and the little one in the tree is an Enoki mushroom. 🍄
