Family Tree Planting at Milkwellburn Woods
About the event
Join our Reserves Officer to support the ongoing restoration of Milkwellburn Wood. Learn how the team at Durham Wildlife Trust manages reserves for wildlife, and gain hands-on experience of tree planting.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions on the day and sturdy shoes as we may be walking on uneven ground.
All tree planting materials are provided. Gloves will be available, but please feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Suitable for families. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
If staying for the duration of the session, a packed lunch is advised, as we'll take a short break for a packed lunch picnic at 12pm-12:30pm.
